    Business card page layout help

I am making a 12 month calendar (2 sided, 6months per side). It will be a wallet size business card (2x3.5"). I have the calendar made in excel and I want to print as many as possible on a 8.5x11 page. I will print the first 6 months, turn it around and print the next six months to make it double sided.
I need to somehow shrink or format the calendar to get 10 calendars/page (2 acroos the width, 5 down the page). Does anyone have any ideas on what might be the easiest way to do this. I will attach the calendar if anyone wants to see it.

    Hello,

it will be nearly impossible to make the front and back of the page be exactly positioned, so that you can cut them to size and all fits just so, with an application like Excel.

First, you'll need to duplicate the months for the first page of your calendars for as many times as you'd want to print them on one page. Then insert a page break and after the page break put the months you'd want to appear on the back of the page.

After that, set the print scaling factor to be 1 page wide and 2 pages tall, then adjust as required. Make sure all your margins are set the same, otherwise, the calendars won't be in the same space, front and back.

You'll probably go through half a ream of paper until you get your desired result, because Excel is not a layout tool.

You'd be much better advised to use a professional layout tool like Adobe Illustrator, Quarks or open source (= free) Scribus, or if that seems like overkill, even MS Publisher will do a better job than Excel.

    cheers,
