Can't find project or library error please help

Hi,

My friend started to use my workbook and everytime he hits F9 to recalculate error comes up " can't find project or library" and it has OK and Help buttons.

I tried googling and searching here but can not find out exactly how to fix it. when I click OK VB references come up and in the list there are no items that have missing next to them. so I dont know when its missing. Also there are a few times that I can not uncheck because they are being used.

Is there anyway I can fix this?

Pleeeeese help us out :)

Are you using the workbook on a common version of Excel eg both xl2007 or not? Do either of you have any add-ins installed which the other does not?

we are using same excel verion. and we do have some add-ins that are not the same do addins matter?

Sometimes add-ins can cause problems. I would ask your friend to temporarily uninstall his add-ins and see if it makes any difference to running the workbook.

I had a similar issue... it was because some Add-ins were actually missing/unchecked... Not sure how they got unchecked (because I never did it manually), but once I re-checked Analysis Tool & Solution add-in my workbook opened up again.
