item not collected clipboard

Hi
I have a sporadic problem were excel will not collect items to the clipboard same in word. I can copy and paste singly but cant copy multiple items to the clipboard to paste singly. this also happens in word at the same time but onenote which was installed seperately can copy to the clipboard normally. office 2007 windows 7

had this problem a few weeks ago, and did some googling, and found there are two clipboards, one for windows and one for Office, you can try the following to reset the office one.

select the text in Word or Excel and hit Control C TWICE, to bring up the 24 item panel this may well reset the office clipboard

I have tried this to no avail when its not working Control C TWICE produces nothing clipbaord fails to open and I get little message on taskbar item not collected in clipboard
