    Re: Week number

    Hi,

    Maybe this?

    =IF(OR(A1>TODAY(),(INT((TODAY()-A1)/7)+1>53)),1,INT((TODAY()-A1)/7)+1)

    Which one did you go with?

    =WEEKNUM(A1)-26 will give negative numbers when A1 is a January date. Won't yours always give 1 for future dates, oldchippy?

    I recommend squiggler's formula, assuming you always want week 1 to be the first 7 days of July, regardless of the weekday of 1st July. You can also use a shorter version, assuming your date in A1

    =INT((A1-DATE(YEAR(A1+184)-1,6,24))/7)

    Hi DLL,

    Yes as 01/07/2009 is in the future I assumed he would want 1 to show, but if he uses a date in the past and week 1 starts from that date then - 01/06/2009 mine shows week 3 from today. So am I wrong?

    I bow to your expert knowledge when it comes to working with dates.
