Pasting single cells into merged cells

    Hello all!
I am VERY frustrated right now.
I have a spradsheet that I've formatted using merged cells. The spreadsheet has several columns. Into these columns I must enter raw data extracted from our SAP data base. The extraction worksheet has no merged cells. So bottom line, I have a column of say, 30 non-merged cells and I want to paste that column into my formatted spreadsheet that has 30 merged cells of thre cells a piece (90 cells total).
So far I have been unable to do this. Any help would be appreciated.

If I've attached it correctly, the sample attached may help clarify.

I added a macro and a button to trigger it. A "beep" tells you it's done.

Read the macro and you'll see how it's doing a value = value transfer. You can edit and expand that to transfer more values when you click the button or run the macro manually.

    Work for you?

I know, I laughed out loud at the ironic timing on this post.

    Thanks "J"

I just got in to work and will try your suggestion. However, if I have a list of over 1000 items (cells) it seems this may be just as time consuming as copying and pasting individual cells. Am I missing an easier way of writing this macro?

Also, am I missing the joke about merged cells?

    Thanks again

JB and I had just responded in another thread about people having problems with merged cells.

The universal solution is don't merge cells.
