Saving to a tab-delimited text file

How do I export a range of cells in a column as tab-delimited into a text file?

Of course, I am aware that the File > Save As... has an option to save the entire file into a tab-delimited text file.
But, that's not what I need to do.

I have a list of people's names and email addresses, among others, in an Excel file.
One column contains the email addresses. I want to export these email addresses as tab-delimited into a text file.

I appreciate any suggestion from members.

Copy the addresses to a separate tab and do SaveAs?

tab seperates columns not rows so just copy into notepad if that doesnt work copy/paste into word (it will create a table) then save as text with linebreaks

OK, I have found a way.
After I select a range of cells with email addresses in a column, I can paste them into another Worksheet as transposed.
Then, these email addresses are now in columns.
I can then save these as a tab-delimited text file.

so they were in a ROW then you transposed to COLUMNS or they were in a COLUMN and you transposed to ROW ?.not quite what you asked
so if you wanted them in a row as tab delimited
i would have suggested exactly what you did
