Post Collapsing Rows based on cell Values

    Hi,

I need help in collapsing data. The below is the requirement:

Collapse data to one record per System Name AND combining unique values in the LOB column, if they are different then concatenate with “ ,“ between values (e.g. – “True,Yes”). Preserve first value found for all other fields.

Please refer to the attachments for details on how the data should look like.

This has to be accomplished using VB Script. Any help on this regard will be appreciated.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hello sarathyvb,

Does the data need to collapsed in place or can the collapsed data be moved to another sheet? Also what types of identifiers. besides true and yes, can be expected in the LOB column?

    Sincerely,
    Leith Ross

It should be in the same sheet

    Leith,

First of all thanks for your time on going thro my posting, and below are the answers for your questions.

The data should be collapsed in the same sheet.

In the column LOB there can be values other than True and Yes.

    Thanks
    Sarathy
