Hi
I'm not sure how to do this, but I want the Total (column D) to be the sum of the Unit Price (column C) times the Quantity (column A). Is there a formula you can apply to a column or do I have to do it in individaul cells?

Don't kid yourself, Jimmy. If a cow ever got the chance, he'd eat you and everyone you care about!
Why isn't your formula in column D simply
=C1*A1
And then copy it down the column?
???

ONLY APPLIES TO VBA RESPONSES WHERE APPROPRIATE
To insert code into the VBE (Visual Basic Editor)
- Copy the code.
- Open workbook to paste code into.
- Right click any worksheet tab, select View Code
- VBE (Visual Basic Editor) opens to that sheets object
- You may change to another sheets object or the This Workbook object by double clicking it in the Project window
- In the blank space below the word "General" paste the copied code.
It depends what you require
on an individual line basis the previous answer copied down will work
If you wished to have the sum of the above at the bottom and your data was in a2:c10
sumproduct((a2:a10),(c2:c10))
or sum(a2:a10)*sum(c2:c10)
Depends what you want

Dav
