After you filter out data, how to you re-number the row numbers so they are, again, consecutive?
 

Excel Facts

Pivot Table Drill Down
Double-click any number in a pivot table to create a new report showing all detail rows that make up that number
Sort by date Sort by votes
Enter the number 1 in your first cell, hold down ctrl while you click and drag down with the fill handle (lower right hand portion of the cell).
