Hello,

I have an excel form that has some letters in front of some numbers, and I need to find a quick way to remove those letters without having to go to each one.

Ex: <TABLE style="WIDTH: 140pt; BORDER-COLLAPSE: collapse" cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=0 width=186 border=0 x:str><COLGROUP><COL style="WIDTH: 140pt; mso-width-source: userset; mso-width-alt: 6802" width=186><TBODY><TR style="HEIGHT: 12.75pt" height=17><TD style="BORDER-RIGHT: #ece9d8; BORDER-TOP: #ece9d8; BORDER-LEFT: #ece9d8; WIDTH: 140pt; BORDER-BOTTOM: #ece9d8; HEIGHT: 12.75pt; BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent" width=186 height=17>CLAYMCD5147760000017845
<TABLE style="WIDTH: 140pt; BORDER-COLLAPSE: collapse" cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=0 width=186 border=0 x:str><COLGROUP><COL style="WIDTH: 140pt; mso-width-source: userset; mso-width-alt: 6802" width=186><TBODY><TR style="HEIGHT: 12.75pt" height=17><TD style="BORDER-RIGHT: #ece9d8; BORDER-TOP: #ece9d8; BORDER-LEFT: #ece9d8; WIDTH: 140pt; BORDER-BOTTOM: #ece9d8; HEIGHT: 12.75pt; BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent" width=186 height=17>CLAYJCD5790270000002446
<TABLE style="WIDTH: 140pt; BORDER-COLLAPSE: collapse" cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=0 width=186 border=0 x:str><COLGROUP><COL style="WIDTH: 140pt; mso-width-source: userset; mso-width-alt: 6802" width=186><TBODY><TR style="HEIGHT: 12.75pt" height=17><TD style="BORDER-RIGHT: #ece9d8; BORDER-TOP: #ece9d8; BORDER-LEFT: #ece9d8; WIDTH: 140pt; BORDER-BOTTOM: #ece9d8; HEIGHT: 12.75pt; BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent" width=186 height=17>CLAYMCD5147761000012541</TD></TR><TR style="HEIGHT: 12.75pt" height=17><TD style="BORDER-RIGHT: #ece9d8; BORDER-TOP: #ece9d8; BORDER-LEFT: #ece9d8; BORDER-BOTTOM: #ece9d8; HEIGHT: 12.75pt; BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent" height=17>CLAYMCD5147760000021224</TD></TR><TR style="HEIGHT: 12.75pt" height=17><TD style="BORDER-RIGHT: #ece9d8; BORDER-TOP: #ece9d8; BORDER-LEFT: #ece9d8; BORDER-BOTTOM: #ece9d8; HEIGHT: 12.75pt; BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent" height=17>CLAYMCD5147761000023088</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>

5147761000012541

Excel Facts

What do {} around a formula in the formula bar mean?
{Formula} means the formula was entered using Ctrl+Shift+Enter signifying an old-style array formula.
Are EITHER the Text String OR Number string Always the same length?
Meaning

Are the Letters always 7 characters?
Or
Are the NUMBERS always 15 digits?

All of the letters are the same as I printed and all of the numbers are 16 digits.

Also, when I did try to change them manually, it changed the numbers to something else.
