    Linking Cells to Allow Data Entry in Either Cell

    Greetings all,

    How do I link cells so that I can make data entries into either cell? I believe this is called 2 way cell linking.

    In short, I want to have a cell on one tab linked to a cell on another tab and be able to change the value of both cells by entering data either tab.

    Dear Muttling,

    This basic way doesn´t work for you?

    Put in cell A1, Plan2 --> =Plan1!A1

    Thanks for the response, but (as I understand it) that is just referencing a cell from another workbook. I'm looking for what Pasp1 linked and will see if I can get that to work.

    Hi
    I got it to work but it actually copies an array of cells both ways as soon as you hit enter in any cell. ( Nice though )
    Personally I have a shared book that we are a number of users in at the same time and I see some proplems with this. ( I have other similar problems with our manual system today)
    Good luck.
