Hi, I know this might be a stupid question but is it possible that values will not overlap when being display on a chart. I have a set of values entered in and they are then graphed on a chart. When graph i do not want my values to overlap and look untidy. Is there a way this can be stoppd?

Thanks

What do {} around a formula in the formula bar mean?
{Formula} means the formula was entered using Ctrl+Shift+Enter signifying an old-style array formula.
By values do you mean data labels?

If so, then once you have the data labels on the chart, click on one of the labels once with the left mouse button (they should all highlight with some little square boxes at either side) then right click and choose "Format Data Labels".

You will then be presented with various options on various tabs which include being able to change the size of the font, or to realign them so that they read from up to down, or change there placement; For example you could have them in the bar on a bar chart.

HTH :)

Hi Jazz,
Do you know of any more advanced ways to format data labels?
