I don't how this happened. I can't move the "little square" in excel using the arrow keys. when I hit enter, it moves to the right as I specified in the options but when I use the arrow keys the whole spreadsheet moves but the square does not move to the next cell..
Anybody knows what is causing this problem??

My guess is your Scroll Lock key is depressed. In the lower right corner of your Excel window, does it say "SCRL" next to "NUM"? Is your Scroll Lock lit on your keyboard?

Bruce is right...this has happened so many times with me.
It happens when you unknowingly press the Scroll lock key.
Just press the Scroll Lock key again to deactivate this option. You won't face this problem again.

My keyboard does not have a Scroll Lock key. (Logitech MX5000) What else could cause this?
I have installed NumCapsScroll Indicator 8.0 and it shows my Scroll Lock is OFF.
Using NumCapsScroll Indicator 8.0 I can also turn my Scroll Lock off and on.
It does not matter if Scroll Lock is off or on I still can not move the cursor using the arrow keys when editing a text box, Chart Title, or Axis Titles in an Excel chart.
