    1. Double click to drill down and view the page.
    2. Your tab now says Table Tools..
    3. In Table Styles group click the lower right drop down button to view all styles
    4. At the bottom see "New Table Style..."
    5. Find the check box at the bottom of this dialog (New Table Quick Style)
"Set as default table quick style for this document"

    Hi Marvin,

Many thanks for the quick response-
The difficulty i am facing is the font Size - The section within the 'New Table Style' where i can select the font size is grayed out.

    Any recommendations?

I don't like my answer but...
It looks like Format Table doesn't allow font or text size changes.
My answer is - after drilling down a new sheet is created..
Select this sheet (click top left box) and then change font name and/or text size.
Or you can do it through programming a macro...

    Thanks Marvin,

Much appreciated - lol your first answer did make sense ..
Only issue with a macro is the user will have to run the macro after he/she has double clicked on the pivot table.
Do you know a way this can be automated so when the user double clicks on the pivot table the macro will run on the the work sheet.

The quick way is to create a Quick Access Toolbar (QAT) icon (Macro) to use the current sheet and change font name and size. You might make this Macro toggle the font sizes form 8 to 10 and back.

If you want it to do it "automatically", I'd be looking for events on either worksheets.add or trace back the

call that does all the drilldown work.
