can't scroll up

I have Excel 2010 and I can't scroll up in my spreadsheet. I can scroll down, or use the scroll bar to go up. I am using a touchpad. Nothing is hidden or locked; I can view everything using the scroll bar. This happens with other spreadsheets too, but not a new, blank one.

No, but I think this is resolved. Every time I opened up Excel, it brought up a screen saying that Excel had crashed and do I want to recover this sheet... no matter how many times I clicked on it and saved it, it would come up again... Seems to be a bug. Anyway, this time, when I recovered the sheet, the scrolling now works... go figure.
