hello i need to set up a quick holiday calculator tool, but i am rubbish with formulas..
i have just 2 elements...

cell a1...will be holiday entitlement.. ie..10 days..15 days 25 days or any day value.. ( entitlement is caluclated by full year 25days/ less start date!>>

cell a2 will be start date...

the holiday year starts on 1st jan of each year..

so what is to calulcate the accrued holidays asat 2days date..?

i guess the formula would be holiday entitlement divided by start date minus start of year? = accrued holidays??

i did say i was rubbish...

can you help!>>!>

Excel Facts

What is the shortcut key for Format Selection?
Ctrl+1 (the number one) will open the Format dialog for whatever is selected.
If start date is 2nd Feb, then total number of days since year start is 33

So holiday entitlement would be 33/365 x 25
