I'm trying to copy a pivot table's values and design format into another workbook using 2007. I don't want to link to or copy over the source data. I thought I could copy\paste\paste special\values but that is not doing the trick. Any suggestions?

Did you know Excel offers Filter by Selection?
Add the AutoFilter icon to the Quick Access Toolbar. Select a cell containing Apple, click AutoFilter, and you will get all rows with Apple
Thanks for responding Dom. I'm trying to get the pivot table style to paste. I can get the number formatting, etc. but lose the style. For example, white lettering on blue fill. Trying to come up with a less time intensive way of copying rather than formatting each of 200 rows.

Thanks!

I've not got 2007 at work so can't test this but try copying the worksheet containing the pivot table, highlight the columns containing the pivot table and then Copy...Paste Special...Values.

Yep... tried all of the possible combinations of copy/paste before posting. With 2003, I think I remember I could paste then paste values and retain the formatting. With 07, I can't get it done. I was hoping there was someway to break the table link back to the original worksheet, but have read on a MS blog that there is no way to do so.

It's not something I've played with massively in 2007 I'm afraid. I use pivots all the time at work but other than seeing what they do different in 2007 I've not had the need to try a lot of things. If I had it here I could play about but I don't.
