Change negative numbers to red on chart

I have a spreadsheet with column that has + or - Pct in it. I have used conditional formatting to change the font to red whenever the data is -. I have a chart and this + or - Pct column is a Secondary Axis in the chart. What I would like to happen is the font color change to red if the Secondary Axis is a - Pct. Is this possible? If so, how can get the negative to turn to red on the chart?

    Hi,

the 'red' described might be the wrong way to represent a negative.

Rather than using Conditional formatting (as per B2:B5 of the attached) you could try Format Cells, Number and select the red -1234 as per B6:B9 of the attached. The chart display shows the difference.

As to your chart, if the attached does not suit the solution required, then you could post a sample chart for further assistance.
