    Talking VLOOKUP a hyperlink

    Evening all

I was wondering if anyone could help with this thing I need?

Before I try to explain the bigger problem and confuse myself (cos it's not hard), i'll ask a simpler question.

Im doing a vlookup that is returing the value of a cell which is a hyperlink but it will only return the text and not the hyperlink itself, is there anyway of getting it to show the hyperlink?

    Cheers peeps

That looks like it might help but I can't view the attachment, it says it has to repair it and all the formulas and hyperlinks have gone.

Thanks for your help Portuga. I've tried using the example on the attached sheet but I still can't figure out how to get it to work.

I've attached a screen shot of what im trying to acheive.

J8 - I want this cell to automatically show a hyperlink to the relevant week as soon as you open the sheet (without having to change it manually). Where I work, we are currently in Week 11 (13th-19th April) so when we open it, i need a link that will take you down the sheet and show week 11.

So far i've tried creating a table with all the week data in it and doing a vlookup for =today() but that doesn't work either.

Has anyone got any suggestions or is this too random?

Attach your sheet or zip it and attach it.
    (must be under 100k)

    Hi Auntsally,

I´m not really familiar with the Hyperlink function and got it to work partially.

    (see attached)

You can have the text for the current week by usingthe formula

Please Login or Register to view this content.
There is an extra sheet with Called "Links"

The link will work for example if its an hyperlink to a web site. (Week 15)
But for cell within the file it gets an error. (Week 16)

I think you need to specify the complete adress in cell B16, something like
File:\\\C:Documents and Settings etc, but couldnt get it to work.
