I have a pie chart and I dont want to display percentages, but the whole number value from the source. When I format the data label I get a fraction instead of the whole number.

I want the chart to display the actual numbers, and not a percentage, how can I do this?
Thanks

What did Pito Salas invent?
Pito Salas, working for Lotus, popularized what would become to be pivot tables. It was released as Lotus Improv in 1989.
You don't want to change the format, you want to change the SOURCE of the data label.

You want to right click on the pie chart so the pie is selected. Choose the option "Format Data Series...". Under the Tab "Data Labels" and Under Label Contains check off "Value".

The number value from the source should now be your slice labels.

Right click your Pie Chart.
Choose "Chart Options".
Under "Data Labels" Tab, choose "Show Value" instead of "Show Percent".
