"Clear contents" function for a cell? (SOLVED)

    Hello,

I'm trying to set up a basic formula to clear out unwanted cells. Basically, if the cell is not equal a number, I'd like it to be cleared of any information. I would rather not use a space, because I have text that is overlapping between cells and would like it to be legible.

    Here's the basic formula:

    =if(A1>0, A1, ???)

Any help would be great. Thanks!

I am not sure if you can simply clear all the content, however you may want to try:

    =if(A1>0, A1, "")

This doesn't clear the content, however it makes it so that there is a blank in the cell. This could be what you meant by have a "space," but it's not a space it is just a blank answer.

    hope this helps.

Are you asking for the contents of A1 to be cleared or the cell where the formula is written?
