Using an Old Pivot Table Format as Template for new Data

I have a Pivot table that I really enjoy using, but month after month I seem to have to go through the same numerous steps it took me the first time when I created this table, but with the new "updated" data to create my new pivot table. Is there any way to save a pivot table as a template, and simply input new "updated" data into the template.

I have heard of an add on called AutoFormat for Excel Pivit Tables, but I do not think that does what I need to do.. any information would be helpful, and you can e-mail me, and I will actually send you screen shots/ excell file that I am working with along with the new "updated" data.

Thanks All!

What does custom number format of ;;; mean?
Three semi-colons will hide the value in the cell. Although most people use white font instead.
Not sure exactly what you want, but to reset a pivot table all we need do is change its data range. Several methods. Back up the original first.

Method 1. Replace the old data with new
Method 2 . Use a named range and change its reference.
Method 3. Right click the table to get the Wizard and click the Back button.

Method 4. In over 15 years of monthly reporting I rarely had to do this sort of thing by using single data tables with a "Month" column. Add new data to the bottom & copy/paste the month down. This has the benefit of easily enabling month on month comparisons.

Then refresh the PT.
