Hi there,

Created a Pivot Table.
1)The Column header text label appears in White Font on a White backround.
2) Headers length is quite long. Prefer the header outputs in a 90 degree alignment.

I make these changes, refresh and they do not maintain. The Pivot Table OPTIONS menu shows Preserve Formatting as checked. I have tried to deselct and reselct this options without success.

Thanks in advance for the help.

Links? Where??
If Excel says you have links but you can't find them, go to Formulas, Name Manager. Look for old links to dead workbooks & delete.
Hi - 'preserve formatting' preserves the number formatting of the source data, not the format of the pivot itself. (to demonstrate, format some data as %, then run a pivot from the data with the 'preserve formatting' option off).

It is an unfortunate 'feature' of pivots that customization is lost on refresh - the standard solution is to record a macro of yourself applying the formatting you want, then run it after the pivot refresh.
