I am trying to create my own dutching calculator but I have become stuck.

I also have this one (attached file) but it is locked, so I cannot edit it. I can't even understand how it works as the formula refers to empty cells.

The formulae and constants cannot be seen because the cells are set to "hidden" and the sheet is protected.
The formulae don't refer to blank cells, you just can't see what's in them.
The workbook/worksheet is, apparently, copyrighted by Format Racing and Latimer Sales 2007.
It is not the policy of this forum to break any password protection.

Not looking to break the protection, was just giving that as an example of a working excel dutching calculator. I also wanted to understand how it worked, that's all.
