Secondary Data Axis Not Showing

I have an Excel workbook that was created by a former coworker. It includes a macro that, among other things, displays a message box about the 2008 file. The macro runs as soon as the file is opened. I'd like to access that macro to correct the date to 2011 and see what else, if anything, it's doing for me (it doesn't appear to do much). I can find references to creating macros to hide and unhide rows/columns and I found ways to delete all macros in a workbook, but I cannot find anything about unhiding a macro without knowing its name.

Does anyone know of a way to unhide this macro?

Hi. I have a row in a spreadsheet in Excel that is hidden but i am unable to unhide it. I have tried the usual way by hovering between the rows above and below until i get the double line but this does not happen. I have also tried going through the Format - Row - Unhide option but this also doesn't work. Any suggestions?

I have a workbook that I have unprotected (all - workbook & worksheets). However, I have a sheet that I know is there (because I created it) but I cannot unhide. I know it is there because in the Name Manager, it points to it. Any idea how I can unhide it?

I have a pivot chart with a bunch of data series, and every time we
include/exclude one of the series to see how the chart changes, all the
colors change and we have to spend time re-identifying which series is
which, using the legend to check the colors.

Is there a way to "lock" the colors, so that the bars stay the same colors
regardless of whether other bars are included/excluded?

Ok, I'm going to try and explain this. I am going to have 5 data points in cells such as A2:A6

All I need is to know if there is an upward trend or downward trend of the numbers.... I can't have something that simply takes the first and last number and checks if it's higher or lower. I need to actually see if they are trending upwards. Also how would i go about making it so that if they are trending upwards it shows an up arrow, and down arrow for downwards...

And finally, if the trend continues at the same rate, how long it will take the number to reach a goal. Each data point will be 1 week apart, with an ultimate goal needed to be achieved at the end.
This will be a completely separate formula on the sheet....

Any help?

Here is my situation. I have been trying to learn macros but have not made one yet. Need your help. Here at work, I have some incompentant computer workers who claim they KNOW MS sooo well and have certificates etc... *COUGH COUGH* ya ok... LMAO

We have a "shared" work book we all work in. It's nothing fancy, just use it as a PO Book but since it is shared some people continue to not save before they add in more work so that they see a "refreshed" copy of the workbook before they start writing in cells that already contain information.

How to I create a macro button at the top of the page that is literally a SAVE button.. instead of them saving by going to File - Save or cntrl+s ??? I just thought that MAYBE having a big button in their face will remind them.

Secondly as back up I was wondering if you can create a macro to do a refresh of everyones screens automatically - say every 2 or 5 mins??? I don't mean a save... but a refresh so the screen actually updates in front of you. (although I will keep this little piece of magic out of their knowledge so they don't rely on it, just though it would be a secondary back up to helping eliminate these mishaps cause we are loosing alot of information by people saving overtop of other peoples work and not caring.)

I have a spreedsheet that shows some percentages example( 9.98% and 15.87%) I am needing to find a way to hide the percentage sign so that they just show as 9.98 and 15.87. The problem I am having is that are been worked out as a percentage, so changing the format of the cell does not work.
Can anyone help?

I have an extensive spreadsheet with several columns and all showing borders
where each cell/column begins and ends. However there are a few cells where
the break with the next cell does not show the line.

I have highlighed the cell in question, gone to format/cell/borders and
everything looks fine. Black color + format border shows square with all
sides of square showing.

Any thoughts on how to fix these few random cells.

I'm trying to separate bars inside a bar chart into separate groups. Adjust the gap applies to all bars. How will I be able to achieve what I need? Please help and thanks

Some time ago I created a spreadsheet and greyed out the areas that weren't needed. Now I need to expand the spreadsheet and use more columns. Trouble is I've forgotten how to unhide those columns. I didn't write any macros and usings the right-click unhide method is proven futile. The sheet isn't protected which is puzzling since I can't get the mouse to even highlight any of the greyed out areas.

Any suggestions would be fantastic!

I have created a simple macro in this excel spreadsheet. Everything works fine until I sent the attachment to my boss. It does not work and keep showing s pop up error msg.

What could be wrong?

I need to create a bar chart for the year. I've already have 3 bars for each of the months, a plan, an actual, and a last year. I need to be able to split out just the actual bar, so that it is a stacked bar. The other two bars need to stay and remain unstacked. Is this possible?

Hello All, I have a column where cells need to be 50 characters long, it contains addresses, however, since all the addresses do not meat the criteria, I need to add (blank spaces) to reach the 50 characters, any idea on how to approach this?

Example

Fire Street #50 this cell contains 17 characters therefore I need to add the rest by adding blank spaces to reach 50 characters, otherwise the system I am exporting the data will not understand this cell

I have the code which filters my spreadsheet and copies that dataset but I think I need to add an IF that skips the copy line when the criteria is not met. Any ideas?

New to the forums.

I'm in the process of creating a new report and I'm stuck.

My report consists of a set target in a field, a score and percentage of target.

e.g Target is 400

score is 450.

Percentage is 1.125 of target. (=score/target)

Now what I would like to do is create a formula that does not go above 100% , but instead work in reverse if you go over the target.

E.g. Target 400 .. Score was 450 ... percentage of target is 87.5%
